I am a visual storyteller and environmental portrait photographer based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. I am passionate about capturing powerful, intimate images in moments of real, sometimes messy, but always beautiful life.

My work can be seen in the permanent exhibits at the Natural History Museum of Utah. Also, In 2012, I traveled with the Museum to document the techniques and lives of Navajo Basket Weavers in south-eastern Utah, for a special exhibit entitled, Weaving a Revolution. Images were utilized in large exhibit form in the traveling space at the Natural History Museum of Utah, as well as a large coffee table style book, both designed by the team at the museum, documenting the Renaissance that these incredible Navajo artists started in the Monument Valley region.

Additionally, I was commissioned by the Natural History Museum of Utah to create thousands of portraits for the Genetic Trait Tree, the local aspect to the special exhibit developed and produced by the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History entitled Genome: Unlocking Life’s Code.

I have also had the honor of traveling with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Champions Ambassador Tour for the past 3 years; documenting the Champions as they meet with their state representatives, celebrities, corporate sponsors, and even President Obama and First Lady Michele Obama. Events included: ceremonies on stage, concerts, fund raising, and behind the scenes relationships to provide an overall feel of the exciting and high energy trip.

My Education: I have an Associates Degree in Photography, and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from Weber State University. Working towards a Masters Degree in the near future.
